S2E3 - Adam's Advice: "The Bottom Is In Control"
Growing up among the many shopping malls in Paramus, New Jersey, Adam was a sensitive kid who had obsessive compulsive disorder and was bullied so much that he had to change schools. Once he came out, Adam’s parents were supportive and he soon discovered that his younger brother was also gay and was Adam’s polar opposite when it comes to the “gay lifestyle”.
A therapist helped him accept his sexuality and also gave him some valuable advice for negotiating bottoming with overly aggressive tops. Even though he’s not sure if he’s interested in a traditional romantic relationships anymore, Adam has developed close friendships and meaningful connections with a variety of queer people over the years which has led him to become something of a New York sex nightlife innovator by organizing queer, all inclusive sex parties.
Adam’s interview was conducted in October of 2019 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
